University Of Wollongong Early Admission - Opens 20th July 2020
Reminder - UOW Early Admission - Applications Opening Soon
20th July 2020
UOW Early Admission is a program that enables Year 12 students to receive an early offer for their chosen UOW degree (or degrees) before they sit their HSC or final exams.
Rather than focusing on your ATAR, we look at your academic performance, including Year 11 results, along with your unique skills and experience. From the information supplied in your application, we look for the indicators that we know, from years of experience, indicate the likelihood to succeed at University. These indicators include academic readiness, motivation and passion, planning and persistence, as well as communication and collaboration skills.
Most of UOW's undergraduate degrees are offered via Early Admission. Explore your options with UOW Course Finder.

University of New England (Armidale) Early Entry
An ATAR is not the only measure of your ability to succeed at university. That’s why UNE has an ‘early entry’ program. UNE’s Early Entry recognises that your story is not best told by a number and ensures that you have the best opportunity to go to university.
UNE Early Entry is open to all year 12 applicants and relies solely on your school’s assessment of your attributes and abilities to determine your suitability for entry. The assessment is based around your ability to work and learn independently, as well as your overall potential for academic success at UNE.
You can apply to UNE early, receive an offer and secure a place at university, even before scores are released. This gives you the certainty you need to begin making other arrangements such as where to live and finding part-time work to get ahead of the pack.
- Apply directly to UNE online
- No application fees
- Know earlier (November) that you have a place at UNE to relieve the pressure of waiting for results, and let you plan your big move
- No UAC/QTAC applications required - Applying through UNE Early Entry does not prevent you from making another application through a tertiary admissions centre so it’s a great way to increase your chances of getting into the course you want.

Southern Cross University Star Entry (Early Entry)Applications are now open for Southern Cross University’s STAR Early Offer program.
STAR Early Offer allows Year 12 students to secure their place in a Southern Cross University degree before Year 12 results are released.
It is designed to remove some of the pressure from Year 12 and give you a direct pathway into university study that is not based solely on your ATAR or Year 12 results (ATAR and non-ATAR students eligible to apply). To apply, visit https://www.scu.edu.au/star-early-offer/
There are three STAR entry programs, select the one that suits your individual needs.
